Animal welfare

An ethical and sustainable quality

The animal welfare , both physical and mental, is an indispensable premise for a sustainable system and a quality supply chain. The first report on animal welfare, the Brambell Report, is dated 1965 and provides five fundamental freedoms that animals must be able to enjoy.

These freedoms, recognized by the scientific community, have been implemented by European legislation , which dictates the structural and management rules that farms must respect.

Salumificio Pavarotti puts rigorous compliance with the legislation on animal welfare first, and on the basis of this selects its suppliers. Because only by investing in an ethical and sustainable supply chain can we be sure to always create products of excellent quality!
